About InternetNeeds
InternetNeeds is where people share the apps, websites, features and tools they wish existed, and where builders find out what people actually want.
Everyone runs into it: the thing you're sure should exist, but doesn't. Usually that thought disappears as quickly as it came, and nobody ever knows how many others were missing the same thing.
Meanwhile, people who build software are looking for problems worth solving. InternetNeeds connects the two: say what's missing, see who agrees, and let someone build it.
An app that should exist, a feature your favourite tool lacks, an emoji you keep looking for. Post it as a Need in a minute.
Others vote “I need this too”, add details and point to things that already come close. Real demand becomes visible.
Maybe it already exists, and someone shares the solution. Or a builder picks it up, posts progress and launches it.
Every Need is free for anyone to build, also commercially. Several people can build the same thing, and that's a good thing.
No followers, no DMs, no feed designed to keep you scrolling. Just what's missing, who needs it, and who's building it.
We count visits without cookies or profiles, and you can post anonymously. We only email you about Needs you follow, plus the newsletter if you sign up for it.
Anyone can report a post. Three reports hide it until a moderator has looked, so the list stays useful.
Our logo is five steps going up. Each step is one more person who needs the same thing. The more steps a Need gets, the clearer it becomes that it should exist.
